I'm still amazed that you can score a fun, barrelling bank to yourself in the Perth metro area! How's the contrast between photos 2 and 3? No trick photography here. Just a guy enjoying a mid morning solo session. We've had some cracking waves in the last week. Not only in Perth but over in Tahiti as well. Surf, take photos, stream Teahupoo live…it's all been going on.

Sadly, the next decent ground swell won't hit the West Australian beaches till the coming weekend. If you're keen for a paddle then get the wheels rolling and head south or maybe just keep the head down and pump out some work.
